This work is more than special for me. A challenge and an honor.

Frida Khalo story is surrounded by suffering. She took her life’s circumstances and harnessed them into her brushes and canvases.

... a woman beyond her time, her indomitable spirit (almost furious with passion) is a symbol of strength, passion, freedom and resilience .... more than a woman, a female icon... an inspiration. In this Frida, she has her left side missing and her heart placed in her hands…but a ladybug rests on her shoulder…representing lightness and hope.
